This class is exactly what the title says.  In this class, we cover the “Basics” of pistol shooting and safe handling of a pistol.  Of course, the safe handling can be applied to all types of firearms.  The class also covers your responsibilities as the owner of a firearm to keep your firearm out of the hands of children and other unauthorized persons.

While this class is designed for a person who has never handled or fired a pistol, it is good for anyone desiring to learn more about safe handling of a pistol.  This class was designed, improved, and taught by National Rifle Association (NRA) Certified Instructors.  You do not have to be a member of the NRA to take this class, but we will show you how to become a member if you wish to join.  In this class, we will mention the NRA frequently (after all it is their class).  However, this class will not be a continuous NRA commercial.  It will, however, promote the safety guidelines established by the NRA to help you use and handle your firearm safely.
